1. How do I submit a book or manuscript for publishing?

You can submit your manuscript directly through our website on the Submit Article or Book Proposal section. Simply fill out the form, upload your document, and our team will get in touch with you.

2. What types of books do you publish?

We publish a wide array of books including memoirs, biographies, history, politics, culture, self-help and environmental themes. If your work aligns with our mission, we’d love to hear from you.

3. How long does it take to publish a book?

This depends on the stage of your manuscript. Typically, a minimum of three months for advanced manuscripts but a year or more from new projects.

4. Who owns the rights to my book?

Unless otherwise provided in the Publishing Agreement, our Authors retain ownership of their work.

Can you help market my already published book?

No. Our services are for Authors who publish with us. For those, we offer marketing support including book launches, mainstream and social media promotion, and listing in bookstores to reach the widest possible audience.

6. Where can I buy books published by Free Press Publishers?

7. Do you publish in languages other than English?

English is the primary language for all our books. We are in the process of translating some books into Kiswahili. However, for authors who need their books published in other languages, we facilitate with other language publishers in compliance with the regulations in their respective territories.
